[Also in Division B1] A device for adding scent, soap or other liquid to a water supply comprises a body 1 with water inlet and outlet 2, 3 and a housing 7 for a replaceable capsule 30 containing the additive. The capsule can be pierced by the point 22 of a pin 21, see also Fig. 2, the travel of the pin being limited by a shoulder 25. Water then flows through the passage 5 into the housing 7 and flushes the additive from the capsule; the additive passes through the annular spaces between the reduced diameter portion 23, 24 of the pin 21 and the holes in the capsule, and enters the water flow through the passage 14. A shower rose 6 may be attached to the device. Specifications 817,679 and 878,643 are referred to.
