Apparatus for supplying optionally either water dosed with a fluoride, or undosed water, to an outlet 5, comprises a first duct 5 for pure water and a second duct discharging into a mixing container 10; on opening the valve 6 the fall of level in the container 10 causes the level indicator 4 to open the solenoid valve 1, and the consequent flow through the flowmeter 9 provides pulses which actuate the metering pump 7 to add controlled doses of aqueous sodium fluoride solution from the vessel 8 to the container 10.
