Abstract
A grain-oriented silicon steel contains 3.5-8% silicon and 2-9% nickel. Grain-oriented silicon steels are defined as steels containing silicon .C.not more than 0.07% .S.not more than 0.04% .Mn.0.05-0.15% with the balance apart from impurities and small amounts of other elements being iron. The cold rolling of the steels of the invention is disclosed.
