981,582. Grass cutters. F. L. DE JONGHE, and J. M. R. DE JONGHE. Feb. 5, 1963 [Feb. 5, 1962; July 11, 1962], No. 4642/63. Heading A1F. A grass cutter comprises a casing 1 having a strip 2 fixed to it to form a cylindrical chamber within which cutting blades 3 are rotated by a motor. The blades 3 are arranged to rotate close to the walls of the chamber and it is stated that this prevents clogging. An outlet 4 is disposed at the side of the chamber but this outlet may be closed by a strip 9 which then directs the cuttings to a rearwardly extending outlet 10 which increases in cross-section. A hinged flap either closes this outlet or supports a grass box adjacent the outlet:
