Abstract

The mower comprises a casing which houses twin cutters, side by side and contra-rotating into the centre. Each cutter is in the shape of a cone, mounted with its base at the bottom; its apex is between 15 and 120 degrees and is connected to the common drive unit. - The cutter blades are fixed to the base of the cone-shaped cutter body and rotating in a horizontal plane; they can, if required, be pivoted. The cut grass is removed on a conveyor, fitted with slats and passing the cuttings into a separate container.
