Устройство дл срезки кустарника содержит майипул тор 1, в виде параллелограмма , установленного на базовом шасси 2. . На манипул торе t смонтирована пустотела стрела 3, а на шасси 2 - бункер-накопитель щепы 4. На пустотелой стреле 3 закреплен корпус 5 пильного механизма вместе с корпусом фрезы (в нижней части корпуса 5). На корпусе 5 установлен пильный вал 6 с пилами 7, привод щимис во вращение от гидромотора 8. На пильном валу 6 установлены толкатели в виде лепестковых втулок 9. К корпусу 5 прикреплены неподвижные контрножи 10. В нижней части корпуса пильного механизма на переднем конце пустотелой стрелы 3 закреплен корпус 11 фрезы, а между пустотелой стрелой и манипул тором установлена кулиса 12.
