Conveyer screw 50 is carried by casing 1 to which material is supplied via hopper 2 and discharged therefrom at 3, the casing being fixedly carried by rigid bar 4 which is pivoted at 5 to frame 6 carried by wheels 9 and supported by skid 7, the cantilevered weight of the screw and casing being balanced by counterweight 8. Bar 10 permits adjustability of angle of casing.
