[Also in Division G1] Coal being carried along by belt conveyer E is detected by fingers A which rest on the surface of the coal. The fingers A are flexible and are secured to the frame B which is carried pivotally on axis C. The movement of frame B gives an indication from moment to moment of the volume of the coal passing along on the belt.
