Abstract

964,758. Hoppers. G. GAUCET. Jan. 3, 1963 [Jan. 9, 1962], No. 333/63. Heading B8S. Hopper 1 which stands on legs 2 is discharged by means of discharger 4. The discharger is hung on to the bottom of hopper 1 by means of hooks 2 which are adjustable and its sloping bottom 6 carries a vibrator 7 near the outlet 11 so that its vibrations are at a maximum near to the outlet, which is controlled by sliding gate 15. The bottom 6 extends beyond the outlet 11 to form a spout 13. In a modification the bottom 6 is welded to the hopper.
