[Also in Group X] An outlet hopper for a silo (see Group X) comprises a brick part y below whichis a metal cone 1 fixed in grooves 2 in a concrete slab x which forms the lowest frame of a silo cell the side walls of which are b, any known valve is provided in the orifice 22 of the hopper. A counter-cone 3 is mounted on supports 4 resting on the cone 1, to prevent the separation of grains of different specific weights on passing through the hopper.
