Abstract

1,038,128. Vibrating trough. BAKER PERKINS CHEMICAL MACHINERY Ltd. April 13, 1965 [Jan. 20, 1964], No. 2448/64. Heading B8S. To the bottom of a hopper (not shown), a trough-like framework 2 is attached, the framework carrying a plate 7 by means of resilient members 8 so that material from the hopper falls through framework 2 on to plate 7 and is discharged from the end thereof by the vibration of plate 7 effected by vibrator 10 (not shown). The vibration of vibrator 10 takes place in the plane of plate 7 and the discharge is controlled by adjustable valve 6.
