Vibrating extractor for silo
The present invention relates to a vibrating extractor for a silo; its aim is to produce an extractor capable of ensuring a continuous and easily adjustable flow rate of the load.
The extractor which is the subject of the invention is characterized in that it comprises a container intended to extend the lower part of the silo downwards and provided with an inclined bottom as well as a vibrator mounted below the bottom, to the right outlet, made in the side wall at the lowest level of the bottom, so that the maximum vibrations are transmitted directly to the part of the load not supported by the side wall to cause its collapse outside the silo and its automatic replacement by the part of the load located higher, above the upper level of the outlet.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the upper edge of the container can even be welded to the silo over its entire periphery.
According to a preferred embodiment, the upper edge of the container can even be suspended from the lower part of the silo, for example by means of hooks.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view of a silo provided with an extractor suspended by means of hooks.
Fig. 2 represents, on a larger scale, the lower part of the extractor and shows in particular the outlet mouth, the adjustment register and the position of the vibrator.
Fig. 3 shows, on a larger scale, one of the points of suspension of the extractor in the case where the latter is independent of the silo and is suspended by means of hooks.
Fig. 4 shows, on a larger scale, one of the support points of the silo in the case where the extractor is suspended by means of hooks.
Fig. 5 represents, on a larger scale, one of the support points of the silo in the case where the extractor is integral with the silo.
In the various figures, the same reference notations designate similar elements.
The silo 1 shown in FIG. 1 is cylindrical in shape and rests on the three feet 2 of which only two are visible in the drawing. However, it must be understood that the shape of the silo can be absolutely any, as long as it allows the load 3 to descend without catching it.
The extractor consists of a container 4 extending downwards t the lower part 5 of the silo 1 and provided with an inclined bottom 6, as well as a vibrator 7. The bottom 6 is reinforced by beams 8, while the vibrator 7 is mounted below the bottom 6 on consoles 9 fixed to the beams 8 and reinforced by a spacer 10. The vibrator 7 is arranged to the right of the outlet 11 which is made in the side wall 12 of the container 4, at the lowest level of the bottom 6. In this way, the maximum vibrations are transmitted directly to the part of the load not supported by the side wall 12, causing it to collapse outside the silo 1 and its automatic replacement by the part of the load located higher, above the upper level of the outlet 11.
Opposite the outlet 11, the bottom 6 is provided with an inclined drain spout 13 whose slope is less than the natural slope of the product constituting the load 3 and whose length is such that the part of the load 3 outlet of the mouth 11 is at a certain distance from the edge 14 of the spout 13, so that the load 3 is discharged only when the vibrator 7 is in operation.
The outlet 1 1 is provided with a register 15 closing off the upper part of the outlet 1 1 and adjustable in height, so that the flow rate of the extractor can easily be adjusted by bringing the register 15 to the position. adequate.
According to a preferred embodiment, the register 15 is formed by a sheet matching the profile of the side wall 12 of the container 4 and whose vertical edges are housed in the vertical slides 16, the register 15 being maintained at the desired level by the chain 17.
In the particular embodiment shown in FIG. 5, the upper edge 18 of the container 4 is welded to the silo over its entire periphery, while the latter rests on the consoles 19 fixed on the feet 2 by means of the elastic cushions 20 held in place by bolts 21.
In another particular embodiment shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 3 and 4, the upper edge 18 of the container 4 is suspended from the lower part 5 of the silo 1 by means of the hooks 22 bearing on consoles 23 and isolated from the latter by elastic cushions 24. As the side wall of silo 1 is not subjected to vibrations, silo 1 is supported by brackets 19 directly without the interposition of elastic cushions 20 (FIG. 4). By suitably adjusting the distance between the brackets 23, by means of the fixing nuts of the hooks 22, the inclination of the bottom 6 of the container 4 can easily be varied, in order to vary the flow rate of the material discharged and / or to adapt the extractor to the material contained in the silo.
