Abstract
In a process for the coloration of cellulose textile materials with water-soluble dyes containing a dihalogeno-s-triazine group, steaming in the presence of an acid-binding agent and thereafter treating the said materials with a compound containing at least one 1 DEG or 2 DEG amino group, the steaming is carried out in the presence of a colourless, water-soluble ester of an organic acid or a colourless, water-soluble mineral or organic salt of ammonia or of a volatile amine or of a hydrolysable acid amide, e.g. dimethyl oxalate, diethyl tartrate, ammonium sulphate or urea oxalate. This additive may be padded on whith the dyestuff or padded on after the dyestuff together with the acid binding agent or it may be included in the print paste. The washing bath after fixation may include the amino compound (see Specification 879, 980). Examples are given. Specifications 209,723, 298,494, 467,815, 772,030, 774,925, 781,930, 785,222, 805,562, 826,405, 828,353, 829,942, 836,248, 837,124, 837,985, 837,990, 838,307, 838,311, 838,340, 838,341, 838,342, 838,343, 838,344, 838,345, 838,738, 844,869, 844,870 859,198, 862,225, 863,758, 864,080, 874,508, 876,632, 877,178, 877,249, 877,859, 878,527 and 878,826 also are referred to.
