Abstract

976,238. Keys and key pins; multiple fastenings. ADVANCE LINEN SERVICES Ltd. Sept. 10, 1963 [Nov. 16, 1962], No. 43382/62. Heading E2A. A lock comprises a cylindrical plug 3 Fig. 2 rotatable in an outer barrel 2 and having a blind bore 5 and an off centre recess 18. The plug has a threaded extension 8 on which is secured a head 9 to each end of which a flat bolt 12 is pivotally attached. The plug is rotatable by means of a key 13 having a cylindrical body 14 and a projection 19 to engage in the recess 18. The bore 5 may have a sleeve 15 rotatable therein being held in position by peening a lip of the sleeve around the mouth of the bore 5. The key may be made a friction fit within the sleeve.
