Heading G2C. 4-mercapto-1, 2, 3-triazanaphthalene is either added to a silver halide emulsion as an anti-foggant or used in the silver salt diffusion transfer process as a blue-black toning agent where it is added to the silver halide emulsion layer, the receiving layer or the alkaline developing solution.
