Abstract

A method of coating a base as described in the parent Specification is modified by replacing the metal particles in the outer surface of the adhesive synthetic resin layer by electrically non-conductive ceramic or refractory particles and by omitting the intermediate flame sprayed layer of metal. The ceramic or refractory particles may be metal oxides, metal silicates, silica, porcelain or glass. Fibreglass board or metal may be coated. Specification 745,257 also is referred to.ALSO:A method of coating a base as described in the parent Specification is modified by replacing the metal particles in the outer surface of the adhesive synthetic resin layer by electrically non-conductive ceramic or refractory particles and by omitting the intermediate flame sprayed layer of metal.
