969,627. Radial cylinder pumps and motors. O. F. A. BIGINELLI. Nov. 28, 1960 [Nov. 26, 1959], No. 40861/60. Heading F1A. In a radial cylinder pump or motor the pistons 14 are arranged in parallel planes P 1 -P 4 and engage opposed eccentrics 28 so that the reaction on the bearings 33, 34 is minimised. The eccentrics compose roller bearings, the inner races of which have eccentric bores which are splined and fitted at appropriate angles on a splined driveshaft 50. The cylinders are bored in a single block and are closed at the outer ends by plugs 16 which have air valves 17.
