Abstract
967,550. Projector casing. VOIGTLANDER A. G. Dec. 1, 1960 [Dec. 1, 1959], No. 41412/60. Heading G2J. The casing of an optical projector having slide - changing mechanism is provided with a recess forming a chamber in which are located contacts included in the electrical circuit of the slide-changing mechanism for co-operation with contacts of an auxiliary switching device which is insertable into said chamber and which may be a time switch, for example, or a relay, wireless or transducing device remotely controlled from the outside to actuate the slide-changing mechanism. As shown, the auxiliary switching device 5 is held in chamber 6 by electrical plug-and socket connections 8,11. These may be so disposed as to allow entry of the device 5 into chamber 6 in a single, predetermined orientation. The device 5 may be supported by a spring-loaded closure on the open side of the recess and spring contacts used electrical connection. The chamber 6 may be formed in an inner wall of the casing, only to be accessible when the casing is opened, an aperture being provided in the latter for access from the outside to adjusting means on the device 5 with the casing closed.
