965,459. Slings. L. M. BALLAMY. Oct. 23, 1962 [July 24, 1961], No. 26780/61. Heading B8H. A flexible sling for oxygen and acetylene cylinders 24 comprises top and bottom end frames 12, 10 attached to each other at one side by blade springs 18, which are initially bowed, and at the other side by two rubber bands 21. The rubber bands are provided with eyes 19 so as to be readily detachable from hooks 22, 23. The top frame 12 comprises upper and lower frames 13, 14 which protect valves 26. Ends 17 of the springs 18 snap on to projections 16 and may be readily detached when the sling is to be stored. A harness may be provided to facilitate transport on a man's back. More or less than two springs 18 and rubber bands 21 may be provided.
