Class 141 In a safety harness for use in vehicles, consisting of a chest strap 7 extending obliquely from a top mounting 5 near the person's shoulder to a floor mounting 3, and a lap strap 8 extending between floor mountings 3, 4, the straps 7, 8 form a continuous sling detachably connected to the mounting 3. The sling may be slidable or fixed with respect to the mounting 3 and adjustable in length at one or both ends. The strap 8 is pivotally connected to the mounting 4.
