Abstract

1354019 Body harness M M SHAW 6 Oct 1972 [7 Oct 1971 46591/71 Heading A3V Body harness for use by invalids or children in baths comprises a waist or chest belt 1 having slots 11 to receive a T-shaped member 12 for adjustably securing the belt around a wearer and shoulder straps 2 which may be similarly adjustably secured to the waist belt 1 or may be fixed to the belt 1, as shown, further straps (not shown) being provided for connection of the harness, by way of T-shaped members 13 to fixtures on the bath, e.g. the taps or hand holds, or to an anchorage above the bath. The further straps may pass through loops on the shoulder straps 2 where the further straps pass from the members 13 over the shoulders of the wearer.
