963,494. Containers. R. MAUSER, A. MAUSER, and P. MAUSER. Aug. 31, 1961 [April 20, 1961], No. 31333/61. Heading B8D. A container such as a milk can comprises a shell 1 whose walls are provided with ribs 8 shaped so as to interengage with these of other such containers with no space left between them and are extended upwardly as shown to end in a peripheral bead 4, into which extension may be fitted a projection in the inserted bottom 6 of another such container. Apertures 5 are preferably formed in the wall extension whereby adjacent portions of the bead 4 serve as handles. The ribs may be, e.g. of hollow trapezoidal or arcuate cross-section, or may be wedge shaped, and may be hollow or solid. The shell may serve as the outer shell of an inner container or may itself constitute the container. A cover 3 is provided.
