1421436 Crates MONTECATINI EDISON SpA 13 March 1973 [13 March 1972] 12137/73 Heading B8P The corner stanchions 1 of a plastics openwork crate are each provided with verticallyaligned U-shaped stop-locating seats 16, 17, 19 and 21 for the location of straps 15 to be placed around a stack of such crates to hold the stack together. An inner lining of one or more cardboard sheets (not shown) is provided over the bottom ribs 14, Fig. 3 (not shown), of the crate. Reinforcing ribs 5 of the stanchions also act as strap-guides.
