Abstract

961,735. Filter networks. COLLINS RADIO CO. March 15, 1962 [Aug. 2, 1961], No. 10027/62. Heading H3U. A frequency-separating circuit, e.g. for frequencies of the order of 100 c.p.s., comprises a push-pull input connected as shown to a number of frequency-selective transformers. Each transformer comprises a single secondary winding and a pair of primary windings, either the primaries or the secondaries being tuned to the separate frequencies. Primary windings 76, 79, 82, 85 &c, are connected in series in the same sense between one pole 74 of the pushpull input and the common pole 99, whilst the other windings 77, 80, 83, 86 &c. are connected in series in the opposite sense between the other pole 75 and the common pole 99. The last pair of primary windings 85, 86 may be formed as a single centre-tapped winding.
