Abstract

956,622. Roll holders. STEINER CO. LAUSANNE S.A. Nov. 2, 1961 [Jan. 26, 1961], No. 39223/61. Heading A4G. In a toilet-roll holder, constructed as in Specification 956,621, the core of a roll 50 is supported on a spindle 38 by means of an eccentrically mounted disc 96. The disc has an integral spigot 95 secured for rotation in bore 94 of plug 90 by pin 101 engaging annular groove 103. The end 100a of leaf spring 100 enters slot 102 to prevent the disc 96 from being rotated. Key 70 lifts end 100a out of slot 102 so that the disc can be turned into concentricity with the end 92 of the plug and the roll 50 removed.
