Abstract
631,462. Roll holders. KRUEGER, T. H. Oct. 15, 1946, No. 30707. Convention date, Oct. 23, 1945. [Class 18] A spindle for supporting a roll of tape in a roll holder comprises spring arms 7, adapted to engage the inside of the core supporting the tape, extending from a base 6 secured to a back plate 4, the base and back plate being mounted on a hub 8. Alternatively, two plates 40, Fig. 3, are disposed one on the top and one on the bottom of a centrally positioned member 42, the ends of the plates being tapered to facilitate application of the roll. One plate only may be used, in which case the base of the member 42 serves to engage the roll.
