955,540. Articulated dumper vehicles. MATBRO Ltd. April 3, 1963 [April 9, 1962], No. 13646/62. Addition to 838,606. Heading B7H. In a four-wheel drive vehicle comprising in accordance with the parent Specification a front frame section 2 rigidly supported on a driven axle 4 and connected about a vertical steering pivot 7, 7 to a rear frame section 6 which is pivotally supported about a horizontal axis on a driven axle 15 and carries an engine 18, a dumper skip 1 tiltable by a jack 3 is carried on the front frame section 2. The axle 15 is mounted in a frame 14 pivoted in members 12 depending from the rear frame section 6. The engine 18 is connected through a clutch, gearbox, and a chain or gear transmission within a casing 19 to universally jointed shafts 5, 16 driving differential gearing incorporated in each axle 4, 15.
