Abstract
A water solution of sugar, saccharin, and citric acid, with flavouring and colouring matter added, is sterilised at about 80 DEG C. before packaging (see Division B8), the ingredients being capable of freezing at -5 DEG C. in a domestic refrigerator to form an iced lolly. The total quantity of soluble solids held in solution does not exceed 12 1/2 % of the total weight of the solution.
