947,236. Vehicle mirrors. RAYDYOT Ltd. Aug. 3, 1962 [Aug. 18, 1961], No. 29831/61. Heading B7J. [Also in Division E2] A vehicle mirror comprises an arm 13, Fig. 2, carrying the mirror head and pivotally mounted in a base attachable to the vehicle and having a flange 12, the arm having a shoulder 18 normally seating on the flange 12 and a sleeve 19 telescoping within the flange, a roller 22 on the arm engaging an oblique abutment face 21, fast with the base, under the urge of a spring 16, whereby when the arm is knocked it is pivoted from the position shown to stress the spring and create a restoring force tending to return the arm to the position shown. According to the Provisional Specification, the roller may be provided on the base and the face 21 on the arm.
