946,897. Hydraulic brakes. GIRLING Ltd. July 10, 1962, No. 26411/62. Addition to 893,872. Heading F2F. An hydraulic braking system for a vehicle incorporating front and rear wheels is provided with hydraulically actuated brakes in which the brakes of the front wheels are applied by hydraulic fluid applied directly from pedal operated tandem master cylinder and the brakes on the rear wheels are applied by hydraulic fluid applied at a higher pressure from a booster operated auxiliary cylinder under the control of the master cylinder.
