[Also in Division B7] To limit the torque on the half shafts 10, 11 of the steered wheels 12 by the inboard brakes 15, a vehicle braking system includes, between the brakes and the master cylinder 22, a reducing valve 24 which limits the maximum hydraulic pressure in the brake cylinders. The rear wheel brakes 19 may receive hydraulic fluid direct from the master cylinder through conduits 20, 21 or, when conduit 23 replaces conduit 20, receive fluid from the valve 24.
