Abstract

944,187. Loose covers for seats. F. G. HOBDEN. Oct. 29, 1962 [Oct 28, 1961], No. 38649/61. Heading A4M. A loose seat cover A comprises a single, rectangular strip a of flexible material for covering the seat and back to extend over the top of the latter and including a tuckin portion a, at the back of the seat portion, laterally extending, rectangular strip portions b of flexible material secured to the sides of the strip a to extend over the seat arms and assume the shape thereof, and inserts B to cover the arm fronts. The inserts B are secured along one edge to the arm cover portions b and when in position may be tucked thereunder or alternatively secured by pins C or C 1 . Tuck-in portions are also provided between the arm portions b and the strip a. A decorative fringe C may be included.
