Abstract

1,188,062. Loose covers for chairs. CUSTOMAGIC MFG. CO. Ltd. 5 Dec., 1968 [24 Jan., 1968], No. 3717/68. Heading A4M. A loose cover for a chair includes an elastic tape 23 secured to the undersurface of the cover at the junction of the seat cover panel 12 and the front panel (11) of the backrest cover pocket 14, the tape 23 having free end extensions formed as loops 24 which are to be anchored either beneath the seat or behind the backrest. The loops 24 may be anchored to the chair frame or interconnected by hooks 28 and a joining piece 29. The cover has a skirt 15, 18, 19 surrounding the seat and provided with an elasticated bottom edge 21 carrying loops 22 to receive a drawcord 30.
