937,580. Photoflash lamps. SYLVANIA ELECTRIC PRODUCTS Inc. May 8, 1962 [May 17, 1961], No. 17701/62. Class 9 (2). A photoflash lamp comprising a glass envelope 2 containing a combustion-supporting gas such as oxygen and actinic material such as shredded aluminium or zirconium foil 4 is provided with a protective lacquer coating 18 over which is a layer or film 20 of anti-static material. The lacquer may be cellulose acetate and the antistatic material may be diluted in isopropyl alcohol before application by dipping the bulbs as they emerge from the lacquer drying ovens.
