Abstract

936,698. Spring clips. F. T. PRODUCTS Ltd. Sept. 4, 1962 [Sept. 8, 1961], No. 32370/61. Addition to 885,372. Class 44. A fastener comprises a single strip of spring material having a web 11 and two limbs 12, 13 arranged in U-shaped configuration, one limb 12 being formed with two prongs 15 inwardly and manually directed towards the other limb 13 and the other limb 13 being formed with a protuberance 18 having its convexity directed towards the pronged limb, the protuberance consisting of material lying between a pair of spaced cuts in the limb 13, the material between the two cuts being displaced out of the general plane of the limb 13 towards the limb 12. The fastener is used for fixing a beading 23 to a flange 24.
