Abstract

932,376. Shelf supports. R. FISHER. May 15, 1962, No. 18693/62. Classes 52 (1) and 52 (5). A shelf support comprises a supporting member 1 detachably connected to a spring steel anchoring element 9 which is connected to a shelf 15 by a bolt 21, the supporting member has hooks 3 which engage slots 4 in a vertical post 2. The anchoring element comprises a locating flange 11 to bear on a spacing web 8, an overhanging flange adapted to overlie the edge of the spacing web 8 remote from a slot 6 through which a connecting web 14 and bearing flange 13 pass, which prevent the anchoring element from tilting, and lugs 16 which bear against the spacing web 8 to lock the anchoring element in its operative position.
