892,110. Brackets. GRAETER & CIE A.G. Oct. 5, 1959 [Oct. 4, 1958], No. 33665/59. Class 52(5) In a bracket arrangement in which the post 1 is U-shaped in cross-section one or both of the legs 5, 6 being bent inwards to form one or both edge flanges 7, 8 defining a vertical slot 9 and the bracket 2 has a lower projecting tongue 13 resting against the rear wall of the post and an upper projecting tongue 11 within the post and supported therein on catches, the tongue 13 being removable by swinging the bracket up and then rotating it through 90 degrees. about an axis perpendicular to the slotted face of the post, the catches are formed on one leg 5 or 6 of the post. As shown, the tongue 13 is T-shaped, both flanges 7, 8 are provided and the catches are constituted by knobs 10 pressed in from the leg 7. In modifications, the catches are formed by pins inserted in holes in the leg 7; the flange 8 and the arm of the T not resting on the catches may be omitted. The post may have the cross-section shown in Fig. 3 to allow mounting four brackets extending in different directions.
