Abstract

997,596. Securing nuts to work. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. March 11, 1963 [June 1, 1962], No. 21307/62. Heading F2H. A nut 12 is held on a face of a support 8 by resilient tongues 5, 6 on arms 3, 4 inserted through a hole 9 when the base 1 of an anchoring clip bearing the arms is presented to the opposite face of the support. Instead of notches 11 in the flange 10 of the nut, there may be slots, Fig. 5 (not shown), in which case the clip has tongues turned outwards from its arms instead of inwards as shown.
