Locating means for securing two panels P, P or the like to an upright S comprises a plate 1 with a slot 2 have through and with spring tongues 4, 4 extending from one face, and a spring clip 5 having two blades 6, 6 shaped to embrace the upright between them and having end parts 6a, 6a to project beyond the upright, the arrangement being such that the plate is located over the end parts of the clip and the plate 1 turned with respect thereto whereby the two blades are drawn together and the spring tongues of the plate bear against the face of the two panels or the like. As shown, the slot 2 and the plate is provided with locking recesses 3, 3 for the end parts of the clip 5. A plate member may be secured to the base of the clip 5 to bear against the face of the panels remote from the plate 1.
