Abstract

The solutions used in the invention disclosed in the parent Specification are modified to contain, in addition, a normal metal salt of an inorganic acid other than chromic and hydrohalic acids. Suitable salts are alkali metal salts, e.g. sodium nitrate, sulphate, carbonate and silicate, forming 0.12-17.5% by weight of the solution. Examples of solutions and concentrates are given.
