Abstract

928,361. Agricultural implements. RANSOMES SIMS & JEFFERIES Ltd. Jan. 16, 1962 [June 15, 1961], No. 21697/61. Class 6(1). A reversible plough for attachment to a threepoint hydraulic lift A, B comprises a body member 1 attachable by plates 14 to the upper link A the lower links B being attached to cranks 12 mounted in a shaft 11 which is rotatable and connected by a lever 17, link 19, lever 24, link 39 to a mechanism for rotating a member 7 to which the plough beam is attached. As the plough is raised by the linkage A, B the weight of the plough causes the shaft 11 to rotate in an anti-clockwise direction to rotate the member 7. The member 7 is formed with a sleeve 31 fitted with two segments 32 held by stops 33. A ratchet arm 34 is freely rotatable on the segments 32 and carries a double ended rockable pawl 37. The arm 34 is pivotally attached to the link 39.
