[Class 6 (i)] A two-way plough is attached to a tractor equipped with a power-lift device in such a way that the reversal of the plough bodies is automatically effected at each raising and lowering of the implement as a whole by the power-lift means. In the form shown, the implement comprises an attachment for a tractor of the general type described in Specifications. 470,069 and 470,087. The tractor is 'provided with hydraulically-operated lift-arms 22 connected by lifting links 21 to lower links 20. The implement proper comprises a rigid triangulated frame including stays 35, 38, 43 joined to one another and to a housing 40, the housing being provided with forwardly-extending arms 45 between which a shaft 47 is mounted. The beams 29 of a twoway plough are pivotally mounted on the shaft 47. An upper hitch link 28 is joined between a point 44 on the frame and a pivoted bell-crank 26 forming part of an automatic depth-regulating system as described in Specification 470,069. The plough bodies 30 may be selectively lowered into ground-engaging position by the rotation of cranks 68 spaced 180 degrees apart and carried on a shaft 63 passing through the housing 40. The shaft carries a ratchet pin-wheel 64, the pins 70 of which are engaged by toggle mechanism 71, 72. The operation of the toggle is derived from relative motion between the upper link 28 and the frame as a whole on each raising and lowering of the implement, the motion being transmitted from the link 28 to the toggle by a link 62 having a notch 104 engageable by a pin 103 on the upper link 28. The link 28 is composite and includes a relatively-slidable part 97 having a notch which shields the pin 103 during normal operation, when the link is. under compression, but releases the pin for engagement by the notch 104 on the raising of the plough. The pivotal connection between the plough beams 29 and the shaft 47 permits small lateral adjustments of the plough bodies by means of a screw 61 bearing against a boss. The assembly also includes a disc coulter 32 for each plough body, the coulters being mounted on arms 114 pivoted to the beams 29 and urged resiliently outwardly.
