Abstract
928,107. Valve oscillating circuits. COMPAGNIE FRANCAISE THOMSON-HOUSTON. Sept. 8, 1961 [Sept. 8, 1960], No. 32327/61. Class 40 (6). A pentode valve 1 oscillator comprises an oscillatory L.C. circuit 6, 7, 8 between the screen grid 5 and the control grid 4, the inductance 6 being shunted by the two capacitors 7, 8 with the centre point earthed, and the ratio of the capacitors 7, 8 being equal to the ratio of the control grid-anode 17 and screen grid-anode 18 capacities, whereby the four capacities constitute a balanced bridge. The oscillation frequency is thus independent of a variable load (e.g. aerial) coupled in the output tuned circuit 15, 16. The control grid-anode and screen gridanode capacities may be augmented by capacitors 20, 21 if necessary. A frequency modulation device 19 may be connected across the oscillatory circuit.
