Abstract

783,238. Transistor mixer circuits. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Dec. 29, 1955, No. 37276/55. Class 40 (6). A transistor mixer circuit of the type in which the two inputs are applied between base and emitter electrodes comprises a series resonant circuit tuned to the intermediate frequency connected in the base circuit to reduce intermediate frequency coupling to the base circuit. In the circuit shown, a received signal is applied to terminals 5, a local oscillator voltage which may be generated by the transistor circuit itself is applied to terminals 6 and an intermediate frequency signal is obtained from terminals 7. A capacitor 9 series times the input circuit to the intermediate frequency.
