928,030. Rolling. F. MOELLER, and K. NEUMANN, [trading as VERWALTUNGS GESELLSCHAFT MOELLER UND NEUMANN OFFENE HANDELSGESELLSCHAFT]. Jan. 9, 1962 [Jan. 10, 1961], No. 783/62. Class 83 (4). An auxiliary device for assembling and disassembling the rolls of change roll frames, comprises stationary frames 4 and 5 with rigidly supported and axially adjustable spindles 6-9 which permit a roll to be held by endwise pressure, and separable parts 21 and 22 of the roll frame which are adapted to travel apart on a base-plate or guide rails 10 after the rolls 1 and 2 have been engaged by their spindles so that the rolls are free to be carried off transversely to their axes. The upper roll 1 is adjustable by threaded ring nuts 27, spindles 8 and 9 are adjustable axially, and all the spindles are adjustable laterally. Bolts 28 secure the frame parts 21 and 22 together.
