Abstract

927,300. Securing handles on shafts. OTTO GROSSSTEINBECK G.m.b.H. April 21, 1961, No. 14561/61. Addition to 869,907. Class 80 (2). A door handle 2 is axially positioned on a square spindle 1 by a locking spring 4 which has a wide central part 4 located in an undercut groove 6 in the handle and narrower ends 4<SP>1</SP>, 5 the former of which engages the teeth 3 whilst the latter bears against the spindle. A grub screw 8 in the handle passes through the spring 4, presses the spring against the upper walls of the undercut, axially positions the spring and provides means for releasing the handle.
