Abstract

853,067. Door handles. HOLDEN & CO. (B'HAM) Ltd., E., and HOLDEN, E. J. April 15, 1959 [April 15, 1958], No. 11885/58. Class 52(1) A rose plate is secured to a bar-type handle by means of a screw having its head arranged for interlocking relationship with the rose plate. As shown, projections 141 engage in notches 113 in nose plate 111 as the shank of the screw 14 is driven home into bar handle 10. In another form (Fig. 6, not shown) the hexagonal head of a bolt fits into a complementary recess in the rose plate.
