927,216. Conveying fibre webs. MAK MASCHINENBAU KIEL A.G. Nov. 20, 1959 [Dec. 13, 1958], No. 39424/59. Class 120 (1). [Also in Group XXX] A device for transferring fibrous webs from a feed lattice to a delivery belt mounted at rightangles to it has a deflecting member arranged under the feed lattice and another above the delivery belt to form parts of a closed frame around which a conveyer belt is guided. A conveyer belt 4 is deflected over a frame 18 to transfer material from a feed lattice 2 to a delivery belt 20, the belt 4 being driven by pairs of rollers of which only the upper rollers 5, 7, 9, 11 are shown. Presser belts 16, 17 are provided to prevent the web slipping when deflected. Those portions of the frame 18 guiding the return flights of the belt 4 may be bent through 90 or 180 degrees to save space.
