Abstract

927,137. Loose-leaf binders. M. J. A. LAWES. July 10, 1961 [July 11, 1960], No. 24059/60. Class 146 (1). A loose-leaf binder comprises members 1, 2 provided with opposed jaws 3, which are connected to the spine of a folder by pin-and-slot connections 4, 8, co-operating pairs of slots 4 in the members 1, 2 being oppositely inclined, so that on moving the members together in a longitudinal direction they rotate about a common longitudinal axis to open or close the jaws 3. The members 1, 2 are attached to the folder 7 by the pins 8, each pin having a flange at one end situated on the outside of the folder, the inner end being expanded over an interposed washer.
