[Also in Group XXIV] A voltage across a resistor 41 in series with an ignition coil primary winding 40 is frequency dependent on a contact breaker 39 and an engine speed and through an amplifier 42 energizes a transformer 43 saturating at low frequencies. The secondary output increases with frequency and is rectified by a circuit 44, 45, 46. A diode 47 with threshold bias corresponding to idling speed voltage, blocks below idling speed energization of an output winding 37 of an amplifier 35.
